Classes / Team Building / Training Events
1. Will I receive recipes when I attend a cooking class or team building event?
Yes. You will also receive a grocery list for your class menu along with wine pairing suggestions for each dish.
2. I have food allergies and/or intolerances. Can I still participate in a class?
Yes you can still participate in our classes. Please advise us of any allergies or intolerances when you register for a class so that we may accommodate your needs.
3. Can I bring my payment with me when I attend the class?
All payments must be made at the time of registration.
4. I won’t be able to attend my class; can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds for missed classes. Should you wish to attend a class on another date, we will charge a $25 administration fee with 7 to 14 days notice and $50 with less than 7 days notice. The entire fee for a class will be forfeited with less than 48 hours notice.
Classes are transferable: should you be unable to attend a class, you may send someone in your place with no additional charge.
Ottawa Food Tours:
1. Will the tour be cancelled if it rains?
Tours take place rain or shine so please check weather conditions on the day of your tour and dress appropriately, with comfortable clothes and shoes.
2. How much walking / standing will we be doing?
You can expect to walk 2-2.5km during our Beechwood, Preston and Wellington St. West tours. The ByWard Market tour is 3km. This is a walking tour so we will be on our feet most of the time.
3. I have food allergies and/or intolerences. Can I still participate in a tour?
Please advise us when you register for a tour so that we may warn our suppliers. We will do our best to accomodate you.
4. How long will the tour last?
You can expect your tour to last 2.5 to 3 hours.
5. Can I bring my children with me during the tour?
We do not recommend bringing children under the age of 14 for these tours. Several businesses have limited space and cannot accommodate strollers. Furthermore, children aged less than 14 years old might not have the patience or interest for the content of our tours. Babies who are carried by their parents in slings are welcome on the tour.
6. I won’t be able to attend the tour, can I receive a refund?
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations after which the entire payment for the tour will be forfeited.
